These terms govern your use of Terra. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

What Terra is

Terra is a software platform that helps people navigate the immigration process — policy interpretation, case tracking, predictive timelines, career resources, and interview prep. Terra is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on Terra, including responses from Jay (our AI assistant), creates an attorney-client relationship. See our Disclaimer for details.

Accounts

You need an account to use Terra's case features. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and using the Get Started intake.

Plans and billing

Terra offers a Free tier and paid Terra Pro and Premium tiers. Paid tiers are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.

Acceptable use

Don't use Terra to post content that is harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or unrelated spam, to attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or to interfere with the operation of the site. Community posts are moderated, including by automated tools, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of what you submit to Terra — case details, notes, and community posts. You grant us the license needed to store, process, and (for public community posts) display that content in order to operate the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Terra is provided "as is." Immigration outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including government processing times and individual case facts — we don't guarantee any particular result, timeline, or outcome. To the extent permitted by law, Terra is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date above.
